A Recap of Sabbath Services at the Great House of Yahweh…
Run your race that you may lay hold of the prize, and make it yours. (I Corinthians 9:24)
Men’s Presentation: Theme: Enduring the Trials/Running the Race
-
Be mindful of Yahweh through all our trials and endure, knowing that the adversary will flee if we resist – speaking out against accusations, etc; our objective is to learn to love Yahweh’s Laws at all times; we were called to endure suffering – we suffer through our own overcoming and we suffer in doing Righteousness with no complaints, without guile; we must commit ourselves to Yahweh
-
Guard against the intangible forms of theft: taking credit for the work of others, trespassing upon rights of others, and gossip leading to character damage of others
-
Our endurance plus discipline must be in shape; we must develop a pattern of behavior by carefully following Yahweh’s Laws; we must control our thoughts – they must be in subjection to Yahweh, His Laws, His House; run our race with patience, endurance, determination, reject negative thoughts
-
Endure the race by recognizing the prize before us – Yahweh and the full joy to be found in Yahweh’s presence
-
In order to not grow weary, consider Yahshua and what He endured; do not dwell on self-doubt because all Prophecies show that we will succeed; remember they (the Righteous who died in the faith) will not be made perfect with us (those who are striving for perfection today)
-
Yahweh does not permit curses without reason; curses come from Godworship; we are commanded to diligently keep Yahweh’s Laws, Statutes, and Precepts; throughout history we see a murderous pattern among those who rejected Yahweh’s Laws
-
In order to teach children not to bully, the environment they live in must support a unified front of non-bullying as example
