A Recap of Sabbath Services at the Great House of Yahweh…
Men’s Presentation
Highlights…
Verse: You shall not add to the word, which I command you, nor shall you take anything from it so that you can keep the Laws of Yahweh your Father, which I command you (Deuteronomy 4:2)
- Modern technology (mobile devices) can be addictive with the potential for psychological problems beside the obvious wasting of time
- Yahweh’s Laws are set—you cannot add or take from Yahweh’s Laws; examples include “listen/obey the Overseer of The House of Yahweh”
- Do not steal from Yahweh—the misuse of supplies/materials in Yahweh’s House is included in this Law, the misuse of what has been dedicated to the Work of Yahweh becomes defiled
Verse: Since you know these things beforehand, beware that none of you fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked, but grow in truth and in the knowledge of Yahweh, and of our Savior Yahshua Messiah… (II Kepha 3:17-18)
- Do not take our knowledge for granted in The House of Yahweh
- These are days for “weathering the storms” knowing Yahweh is working with His People
- Do not be overly hard on ourselves – we must not quit our walk in The House of Yahweh
- Yahweh refines His People—we have our sins pointed out giving us eye-opening experience so we can repent/convert
- Hold fast to Yahweh’s promises (Revelation 21:7)
- Recognize that our fears can lead to unrighteous behavior but we understand we must repent, confess, and strive to overcome/not repeat unrighteous behavior
- Consider that ‘tribulation’ is found within the individual’s own thoughts – we are instructed to ‘fear not’
Verse: For I consider that the suffering of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed in us (Romans 8:18)
- Today, we see the ‘big picture’ – an accurate perspective to evaluate the importance of our tests, Iyyob did not have this during his trials
- Future rewards render current tests/trials miniscule within the ‘big picture’
- Situations we face can lead us to view our problems in a type of ‘tunnel vision’ – stepping back/consideration helps us to understand what is actually going on; keeping our trust in Yahweh is best method
- Remember we are the clay in Yahweh’s (the potter’s) Hands – because Yahweh is in complete control, we must yield to Yahweh; we are as dust of the ground, being made into the Image/Likeness of Yahweh – we subject ourselves to this process through our tests/trials as we overcome all sin and remain in unity with Yahweh, His House, our brethren (the body of Messiah)
- We submit ourselves to the Will of Yahweh because we want to become the perfect Likeness/Image of Yahweh
- Tests/trials are necessary, and we ought to rejoice through the process – knowing this will make us stronger (the perspective we see)
- Yahweh prepares His People through His Laws – ashes of the Red Heifer an example
Verse: Therefore, give Your servant an understanding and discerning heart to judge Your people, so I might distinguish between right and wrong… (I Kings 3:9)
- Yahweh tells us people die for lack of knowledge – because they don’t have a ruler; people look for a leader/without one hopelessness/sin abounds
- Yahweh established His House, in this time period, in order to bring us into being righteous rulers – we will then give people, Yahweh’s Vision
- We have a leader in Yahweh’s House at this time – Yisrayl/he brings unity
- To teach people to think—teach them to write; writing includes a necessary thought process; Yahweh instructed Solomon to write/study His Laws; to be a leader requires a full/thorough knowledge of Yahweh’s Laws—knowing the application of each Law
- Notice: people expect others to be in agreement with them; unity ought to be in agreement with Yahweh; do we measure unity through our own perceptions
- A physical ruler is used to measure distances, draw straight lines; rulership is a position, do not take it personally, we ought to do all that is necessary to attain to that position
- Genesis 1:26 describes the rulership that awaits those obey Yahweh; Yahweh’s measurements are His Laws; rebelling against those who rule over us is a choice that undermines the authority we thought we had
Closing Verse: You must turn to your Father, keep mercy and judgment, and wait on your Father continually (Hosheyah 12:6)
