FALSE
RELIGIONS:
The
Cause For Today's World Curses
Even if the whole world followed just one of the major religions today, mankind would continue to wage war for all the same reasons. Influenced by today's ideology, mankind is convinced that war is necessary in order to protect themselves. Each new generation is taught “peace through strength, force or threat of war.” In this way war has been passed down from generation to generation for six thousand years.
Teaching war has never brought peace, only more war. The ways of peace are not taught today, so we do not and cannot have what we do not teach.
Many
will say that their particular church, synagogue or mosque, etc.
teaches peace.
This may be so to a certain extent. But of all the religions we
thoroughly
researched including Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism,
etc., we
found none that teach the 613 Laws of Peace, as
written by the Inspired
Prophets of Yahweh. All of them teach a form of love, but do not teach
the Laws
of Love as recorded by the Prophets and Apostles.
Every religion supports the armed forces of their particular nation. Every religion preaches “love” while teaching their children unswerving patriotism. Every religion brings forth the thought that the other countries are their enemies. Many religions preach that theirs alone is the true religion. Many religions teach that other nations or tribes are inferior and can't be trusted. Therefore, all other nations, tribes and religions are their enemies.
Children learn from the words and actions of adults. The natural learning process has allowed the gods to successfully plant the idea that wars can bring peace. The gods of war completely have their way with the children of the major religions today.
Religions Of Man Cause Separations
Many people think that their religion is a continuation of the Inspired Prophets or Apostles. They believe their preacher, priest, rabbi or guru teaches what Yahweh’s Prophets taught.
Compare what is taught by the religious leaders today to the 613 Laws that Yahweh inspired the Prophets to write. You will find that traditions and oral laws have been added to the Inspired Writings and taught as doctrine of salvation. These traditions and oral laws have only served to separate mankind.
Religious Falsehoods
The religions throughout the world have deceived the people into following a way of life that is in direct opposition to the Creator Yahweh. These religious leaders have caused the people to forget Yahweh's Name.
Yeremyah
23:26-27—
26
How long will this be in the heart of
the prophets
who prophesy lies? Yes, they are prophets of the
deceit of their own
minds;
27 Who
devise; plan and scheme,
to cause My people
to forget My Name through their dreams, which they tell every
man to his
neighbor, just as their fathers have forgotten My Name
for Baal; Lord.
Notice
the following
falsehoods taught by the religions of the world today:
FALSEHOOD:
The
name of the Creator
is God, that’s God
with a captial G, not a little g.
FALSEHOOD:
The
name of the Creator
is Jehovah.
FALSEHOOD:
The
name of the Creator
is too Holy to be
pronounced and is substituted with titles such as Ha-Shem or with
expressions
such as G-d.
FALSEHOOD:
The
name of the Creator
is Allah, meaning the
God.
FALSEHOOD:
The
being we are to
worship is called
Buddha and we should all strive to become Buddhas.
FALSEHOOD:
It's
acceptable to call
the Creator by the
name Lord, El or Adonai.
Now, Learn The TRUTH About the Name Of The Creator
The very oldest Scriptural text ever found, dating back almost 2,600 years, was found in a tiny silver amulet which contained a seventh century b.c.e. extract from the Book of Numbers (6:24-26), the Priestly Blessing. The rolled up amulet was part of a treasure hoard found by a Tel Aviv University archeologist in a first temple period family tomb in Jerusalem, Israel. When this amulet was written, the temple of Solomon still stood, the heirs of King David still ruled on the throne, and the Dead Sea Scrolls would not be written for another 400 years.
It was three years after its discovery before this fragile amulet could be unrolled by technical experts at the Israeli Museum. On this amulet the Name of Yahweh could be clearly read. Complete details of this magnificent find can be read in the 6-28-86 and 8-9-86 issues of The Jerusalem Post, and the 6-87 issue of The Readers Digest.
There
is no doubt when you see the proof for yourself and you do not allow
your mind
to be clouded by false religions that the True Name of our Creator is
Yahweh.
In fact, the evidence is overwhelming. Unger's Bible
Dictionary, page
1177, says:
Yahweh
(ya’we). The Hebrew
tetragrammaton
(YHWH) traditionally
pronounced Jehovah (q.
v.) is
now known to be correctly vocalized yahwe.
New
inscriptional evidence
from the second and first millennia B. C. point toward this fact. The
old view
of Le Clerc, modernly propounded by Paul Haupt and developed by W. F.
Albright,
has commended itself in the light of the phonetic development and
grammatical
evidence of increased knowledge of Northwest Semitic and kindred
tongues. This
thesis holds Yahwe to be originally a finite
causative verb from the
Northwest Semitic root hwy “to
be, to come into being,"
so
that the divine name would mean "he causes to be, or exist,”
i. e.,
"he creates.”
The Wycliffe
Bible Encyclopedia, 1975,
Volume 2, page 690, Moody Press, Chicago, tells us:
The
Name par excellence for the Creator of Israyl
is Yahweh, found
6,823 times in the OT. Through Israyl’s
deliverance from bondage in Egypt,
adoption as a nation, and guidance to the Promised Land, the
Redeemer-Creator is especially known by this Name.
The
Interpreter's Dictionary of the Bible, Volume 4, page 923,
says:
YAHWEH-The
vocalization
of
the four consonants of the Israylite name for the Creator,
which scholars believe
to approximate the original pronunciation.
James
Moffatt, in his translation, The
Bible: A New Translation, informs us in
his introduction:
Strictly
speaking this ought to be rendered Yahweh which is familiar to modern
readers
in the erroneous form of Jehovah.
Were this version intended for students of the
original, there would be no hesitation whatever in printing Yahweh.
The
Encyclopedia Judaica, Volume
7, page 680, states emphatically:
The true
pronunciation
of the Name YHWH was never lost. Several
early Greek writers
of the
Christian Church testify that the Name was pronounced Yahweh.
The Name of the Heavenly Father is written in the Hebrew Scriptures with the four consonants YHWH, and is referred to as the Tetragrammaton. At least until the destruction of the first temple in 586 b.c.e., Yahweh's Name was pronounced regularly with its proper vowels, as is clear from the Lachish Letters, written shortly before that day. However, at least by the third century before our Messiah was born, the pronunciation of the Name Yahweh was avoided, and adonai, the lord, was substituted for it.
The Hiding Of Yahweh’s Name
In the Hebrew manuscripts, the religious scholars conclude there are three major texts of Scripture; the oldest, and the original, being the Yahwistic Works, which use the Name of Yahweh exclusively. These works are referred to as the (J) writings, because they contain only the Name of Yahweh, without any titles such as el, elohim, or adonai.
The next text of the Scriptures, coming about 100 years later, incorporated the use of pagan titles, which were adopted from the Canaanites after the children of Israyl entered the promised land, even though Yahweh had strictly warned them to stay away from the god worship of the peoples they would come in contact with (Deuteronomy 7:1-5). In direct violation of Yahweh's Commandment not to worship gods (Deuteronomy 30:17-19), only 100 years later the Holy Scriptures became polluted with the pagan titles of elohim, adonai, god, and lord.
In the Middle Ages, vowel points were supplied by the Masorites, and the Tetragrammaton was substituted in over 130 places in the Hebrew text with the title of the Canaanite god adonai, and in some places the word elohim (god, gods) was used whenever the physical attributes of man were applied to Yahweh. Wherever the Tetragrammaton was left, marks were placed beneath it to indicate pronunciation of the word to be spoken as adonay, not the written Yahweh, which the Hebrews had come to considered too sacred to be spoken aloud.
The Century
Bible, by Adeney and
Bennett, Volume 1, pages 90-91, tells us:
Some
time after the return
from the Captivity, and before the beginning of the Christian Era, the
Yahdaim (Jews) came to believe that the Holy Name YAHWEH was too sacred
to be
uttered on ordinary occasions. It was said to be pronounced by the High
Priest
on the Day of Atonement. At other
times, when any one read or
quoted aloud
from what is called the Old Testament, the word Adonay,
Lord, was
usually substituted for Yahweh, and similarly the LXX (Septuagint
Version) has Kurios,
the Vulgate dominus, and the E.V. Lord, where the
Hebrew has Yahweh.
Hebrew was originally written without vowels, but when the vowel points
were added,
the
vowels of Adonay or Elohim
were written with Yahweh, as a
direction that these words were to be read instead of the word whose
consonants
were Yahweh; thus we find the combinations YeHoWaH and YeHoWiH.
At the
Reformation, the former being the more usual, was sometimes used as the
Name of
the (Mighty One) of Israyl, and owing to ignorance of its history was misread
as Jehovah, a form
which has established itself in English,
but does not
give the pronunciation of the Holy Name it represents.
Joseph Bryant Rotherham, in The Emphasized Bible: A New Translation, says the following in the Introduction:
The
Name
Suppressed:
THE FACT
It is willingly admitted that the suppression has not been absolute; at least so far as Hebrew and English are concerned. The Name, in its four essential letters (YHWH), was reverently transcribed by the Hebrew copyist, and therefore was necessarily placed before the eye of the Hebrew reader. The latter, however, was instructed not to pronounce it but to utter instead a less sacred name--ADONAY or ELOHIM. In this way the Name was not suffered to reach the ear of the listener. To that degree it was suppressed. The Septuagint, or ancient Greek version (LXX), made the concealment complete by regularly substituting Kurios, as the Vulgate, in like manner, employed Dominus, both Kurios and Dominus having at the same time their own proper service to render as correctly answering to the Hebrew adonay, confessedly meaning Lord. The English versions do nearly the same things, in rendering the Name as lord, and occasionally god; these terms also having their own rightful office to fill as fitly representing the Hebrew titles Adonay and Elohim and El, so that the Tetragrammaton is nearly hidden in our public English versions.
The
IMMEDIATE CONSEQUENCES
Of The Suppression
(i.) Partly literary though more than that. Reference is here made to the confusion into which many things are thrown through this abnormal state of things. Baal is lord, and so is Adon (Adonay)__that is distressing; but why add to the embarrassment by rendering YHWH also as Lord? Worst of all is the confusion when "Y" and Adonay occur together, as they do many times in the Book of Ezekiel (Yechetzqyah). Inasmuch as to say, "Lord Lord" for "Adonay Y," was too grotesque and misleading (positively false to the ear), the new device had to be resorted to of rendering this combination by Lord God__God in this case, and not Lord at all, standing for the Name. Even YH (the shorter form) and YHWH (the full form) of the tetragrammaton, coming together, caused a dilemma; though in these instances, the acuteness of the trouble compelled the adoption of a partial remedy, and the Lord Jehovah; is the result. Confusion, then, is a term not a whit too strong to apply to these varying devices. No wonder that even intelligent and educated people are continually forgetting what they have heard or read concerning so involved a matter.
The Masorites, Hebrew Scribes during the Middle Ages, who added the vowel points to the accepted Hebrew text, did not remove Yahweh's Name from the Scriptures. They did, however, point the four-letter Name of Yahweh with the vowel marks of either elohim or adonaipagan names of gods which had been accepted for hundreds of years.
The Name Yahweh means self-existent, but it also means perfect Righteousness, which is contrary to the meaning of the word god, which means a mixture of Righteousness and evil. Notice the following Scripture, which shows the Character of Yahweh:
Exodus
33:18-19—
18
Then Mosheh said; show me now Your Glory.
19
And Yahweh said: I will make all My Righteousness pass in
front of you; and I will proclaim My Name, Yahweh, in your presence...
Exodus
34:5-7—
5
Then Yahweh descended in the cloud, and stood with him
there, and proclaimed the Name of YAHWEH.
6
Yahweh passed in front of him, and proclaimed: YAHWEH,
YAHWEH Almighty, merciful and compassionate, longsuffering,
and abounding
in Righteousness and Truth.
7
Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity, and
transgression, and sin; but by no means vindicating; acquitting,
those who
are guilty. The plagues brought upon the
fathers because of their sexual
misconduct will fall upon the third and
upon the fourth generation
of those who hate Me.
These names of the Canaanites’ gods (elohim) were accepted before the time of Yeremyah the Prophet which is why when Yeremyah began prophesying, he said:
Yeremyah
23:25-27—
25 I
have heard what the prophets say, who prophesy lies in
My Name, saying; I have dreamed! I have dreamed!
26
How long will this be in the heart of
the prophets
who prophesy lies? Yes, they are prophets of the
deceit of their own
minds;
27 Who
devise; plan and scheme,
to cause My People
to forget My Name through their dreams, which they tell every
man to his
neighbor, just as their fathers have forgotten My Name
for Baal; Lord.
The
word Baal
simply means: Lord, as is
shown in any Bible
Dictionary. Unger's
Bible Dictionary, for instance, under the subject Lord, on
page 665, says:
Lord (Hebrew Adon), an
early word denoting ownership; hence, absolute control. It is
not properly a
(righteous) title...master;
of kings, as the lords of their
subjects.
(4.)
Lord.
Master, (Greek
Kurios)
Supreme...
(5.) Baal
(Master) (as noted above, it means Lord)__applied
only to
heathen deities (gods), or to man as husband, etc...
Unger
also tells us, on this same page,
that:
The
Jews,
out of a superstitious
reverence for the Name
Yahweh, always, in
reading, pronounce
Adonai where Yahweh is written.
On
page 413 of his
Bible Dictionary, Unger tells us:
Baal--common
Canaanite word for
master, lord, was one of the chief male deities of the Canaanite
Pantheon, now
well known from the
religious epic literature discovered at Ras Shamra (an Ugarit of the
Amarna
Letters), from 1921-1937.
At the time, the use of these pagan terms was accepted, and used by the copyists to replace Yahweh’s Name, or to identify Him in their writings. However, these pagan words cannot identify Yahweh our Creator, because they are titles of Satan and her angels!
Unger's
Bible Dictionary, page 412,
states that the word el is a
Canaanite word meaning god or devil.
The
Interpreter’s Dictionary of the
Bible, Volume 1, page 817, under Demonology,
says: The word elohim
(plural form of el) means demons
or gods
Because the
word god in no way can stand for the Heavenly
Father, then the term
Allah
meaning the God, would be unsuitable.
For Yahweh's Name they have substituted (among many other names and titles) baal, the Babylonian god (el), and adonay, the Canaanite god (el) of the Phoenicians, both corresponding to the English word lord. The substitution of Yahweh’s Name, by the names of pagan gods (elohim), has brought immeasurable harm. Such titles/names as Lord, God, Jehovah, and Allah in no way represent the meaning of the Name revealed by Yahweh our Heavenly Father to Mosheh, and to the ancient Hebrews. By employing these titles, the people unknowingly turn the worship of Yahweh into that of gods (elohim), and actually ascribe the Loving and Merciful characteristics of the Father of Israyl, to the pagan gods (elohim). (Hosheyah 2:8).
Importance Placed On Yahweh's Name!
The Holy Name of our Father and Creator, Yahweh, or its short form which appears in the compound names of people, prophets, and cities, is the one and only Name by which the Creator is known throughout the Holy Scriptures. The following are only a few of the many Scriptures in which YAHWEH is extolled and praised:
Psalm
23:6—
Surely
Righteousness and Mercy will follow us all the days
of our lives; and we will dwell in The House of Yahweh
forever!
Psalm
9:10—
They
who know Your Name will put their
trust in You! Those
who seek You, You will not forsake!
Psalm
83:l8—
Let
men know that You, Whose Name Alone is YAHWEH,
are the Supreme Head over all the earth!
Isayah
43:3—
For I
am Yahweh your Father,
the Holy One of
Israyl, your Savior...
Following is a list of only a few of the Scriptures, which show the glorification of Yahweh's Name in the Holy Scriptures: Psalm 68:4, Exodus 17:8-15, Exodus 15:26, Judges 6:24, Genesis 22:13-14, Acts 2:21, Yeremyah 23:6, Proverbs 30:4, Isayah 42:8, Hosheyah 2:17, Hebrews 2:12, Psalm 22:22, I Kings 18:21, Yahchanan 12:13, Yahchanan 14:13-14, Acts 4:12.
Through just a few inserts and Scriptures, we have seen how the Creator's Name was replaced with titles such as lord, god, el, adonay, allah and jehovah. We have also seen throughout the Holy Scriptures the importance placed on the Name of Yahweh and using our Creator's Name in worship and study.
Yahweh Is Not A God!
The falsehood of calling upon the names of gods and lords instead of the Heavenly Father Yahweh has spreads through mankind. Along with the removal of His Name, the falsehood has arisen that Yahweh (the Creator of the universe) is just one of many gods. Of course, this is just an attempt made by Satan to be equal with Yahweh in the eyes of mankind. However, Yahweh is not a god, nor has He ever identified Himself to us as a god. The Prophet Isayah was inspired by Yahweh to write the following.
Isayah
42:8—
I
am Yahweh. That is My Name;
and My Glory I
will not give to another, nor My Praise to graven images.
Isayah
45:18,21-22—
18 For
this is what Yahweh, Who created
the heavens,
Who is the Father, Who formed the earth and made
it, Who has established
it, Who did not create it in vain, Who formed it to be inhabited, says:
I
am Yahweh, and there is no other
source of power!
21
Speak out, bring your proofs near;
yes, let them
take counsel together. Who has declared this from ancient time? Who
has
foretold it from that time? Have not I, Yahweh?
And there is no
source of power except Me, a just Father and a Savior; there
is none but
Me.
22
Look to Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for
I am Yahweh, and there is no
other source of power.
There is a great importance attached to knowing our Heavenly Father’s Name. As this age grows closer to The End, and all hope of life and protection slowly vanishes; it becomes more obvious that mankind will use his capabilities to eradicate all life. It is extremely important for people to know our Creator’s Name, and become knowledgeable of the great Plan Yahweh reveals in the Holy Scriptures for it is only those who call with the Name of Yahweh who will be delivered at this end time.
Yahyl
2:31-32—
31
The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into
blood, before the great and the wonderful Day of Yahweh comes.
32
And whoever will call with the Name of Yahweh
will
be delivered; for in Mount Zion in Yerusalem there will be deliverance,
as
Yahweh has said, among the remnant who has escaped of those
whom Yahweh
calls.
The question in each person’s mind now, should be: How will Yahweh, my Creator, hear me if I call upon Him with the titles of pagan gods (elohim)? The simple answer is, He won’t. We must turn to Father Yahweh now by calling upon His Name alone and not the titles of gods, elohim, lords, jehovah or allah.
It is only through the teachings brought forth by Yahweh's House that we can truly learn what it means to call upon the Name of Yahweh. Write or call today to obtain our booklets Who Is Lord God? Who Is Baal?, Why Aren’t Your Prayers Answered Today? and Who Do You Worship? for further details concerning the suppression and hiding of Yahweh's Name.
Causing people to forget the Holy Name of Yahweh is a falsehood that has been pushed forth by the religions throughout the world today.
Religious Falsehoods Continue
Another way of life that the religions throughout the world have deceived the people into following is the breaking of the Sabbath Day. We see the following falsehoods throughout the religions of the world:
FALSEHOOD: We should go to church on Sunday because it is the Lord’s day. We go to church in the morning and then go to lunch and spend the afternoon doing our own pleasures.
FALSEHOOD: The Christians should go to church on Sunday because that is what the Catholics do.
FALSEHOOD: Like the Muslims, we should keep a holy day on Friday because their prophet Mohammed told them that was their holy day. They have several prayers on this day and then a service.
FALSEHOOD: Like the Jews, we should keep the Sabbath on Saturday according to the rules and regulations given in the Talmud, the oral law. No work at all is to be done on this day, including carrying a needle on the back of your hand.
