putting away lying, each one speak the truth with his brother, for we

Keeping Yahweh's Laws Will Bring Trust Between Countries
If this Law was kept by the nations today, they would not seek to spread false reports about another by using propaganda. Each nation would seek to lift and build up the other nations.
The benefits of not spreading a false report on an international level allow nations to develop trust among each other. Keeping this Law would eliminate the need to secure weapons of war to protect themselves from neighboring nations.
Government officials will be true ambassadors of peace—promoting true peace, love and security between the nations.
If two nations were practicing this Law, by not spreading a false report, they would both receive many blessings. The countries would share only beneficial ideas between them. The latest advances in medicine and current technology would be passed between the two. They would also share how they solve problems within families and information about the ever-improving lifestyles of the people. This would result in the people of the countries being healthy, productive, and joyful. Let's look closer at how this might work.
One country would not sell any product to the other by telling them they are beneficial products when they are not. Making an ally would be more important to this country than increasing its wealth. The other country would see the honesty their neighbors display and would realize they can trust this country because there is no hidden agenda. Both countries would be interested in a truthful relationship. This honesty could bring about many changes for the two countries. Neither would live in fear of the other. They would have complete trust in one another and know each one is looking out for the well-being of the other. Just imagine this simple practice spreading from one nation to the next. Instead of spreading false reports, the trust built up would create only righteous reports among nations.
