The Cause
The Savior said in Mattithyah 24:12 that because sin increases in this time period, this generation, so also do diseases and hatred. The same verse says, "the love grows cold for each other," which describes hatred and of course, hatred brings wars and retaliation.
The great Prophet Isayah also showed sin to be the cause of today's troubles.
Isayah
24:1-6—
1
Before Yahweh's very
eyes, the earth is made empty
and it is made waste; the face of it is perverted and its inhabitants
scattered
abroad;
2
And
it will be: as with the people,
so with the priests;
as with the servant, so with his owner; as with the maid, so with her
mistress;
as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the
borrower; as with him who takes usury, so with him who gives usury to
him:
3
The
land will be utterly emptied
and utterly plundered,
for it has come to pass that this Judgment has been pronounced.
4
The
earth mourns and fades away,
the world mourns and
fades away, and the haughty people of the earth languish.
5
The
earth also is defiled because
of the inhabitants of
it, because
they have transgressed the Laws,
changed the Ordinance, and
broken the Everlasting Covenant.
6
Because
of this,
the
curse has
devoured the
earth, and
they who dwell therein are desolate; therefore,
the inhabitants
of the earth are burned, and few men
left.
The burning referred to in verse 6 is the nuclear fire, described in several other Prophecies.
Malakyah
4:1—
For,
behold, the day comes that will
burn like an oven; and
all the proud, yes, and all who do wickedly, will be
stubble—the day that comes
will burn
them up, says
Yahweh of Hosts; and it will
leave them neither
root nor branch.
Revelation
13:11-13—
11
And I saw another beast coming up
out of the earth, and
he had two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon.
12
And he exercised all the authority
of the first beast
before him, and caused the earth and those who dwell in it to worship
the first
beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
13
And he does great wonders, so that
he makes fire
come
down from heaven on
the earth in the sight of men.
This is brought about by the Quartet (United States, Russia, United Nations, European Union), shown in Revelation as the four messengers of the nations for this time period, concerning wars, which turn out to be nuclear wars, over a fourth part of the earth, in and around the great River Euphrates, but will spread to all nations by October 13, 2007, darkening the sun.
All Caused By Sins Of the Religions—Sin Is The Breaking of Yahweh's Laws
I
Yahchanan 3:4—
Whoever
commits sin, transgresses
also the Laws; for sin is
the transgression of the Laws.
As you saw in Isayah 24:1-6, the great Prophet Isayah showed that the Laws of Yahweh are being broken and changed and because of such, all these troubles, sicknesses, diseases and wars are being caused by mankind, led by religions, who followed the Catholic Church when she changed and broke Yahweh's Laws. They—this world's religions—will not repent. Remember Isayah 24:2 says it will be upon the people and the priests. The following warning is given by the Savior.
Mattithyah
7:15-17—
15
Beware of false prophets who come
to you in sheep's
clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16
You will know them by their
fruits. Do men gather grapes
from thorns, or figs from thistles?
17
Likewise, every Righteous tree
brings forth Righteous
fruit; but a tree of evil brings
forth fruit of iniquity.

7:21-22—
21
Not everyone who says to Me;
Teacher! Teacher! will enter
into the Kingdom of Yahweh, but only he who does
the Will of My Father
Who is in heaven.
22
Many will say to Me in that day;
Teacher! Teacher! Have we
not prophesied in Your Name, and cast out demons in Your Name, and in
Your Name
performed many wonderful works?
Notice,
these are priests, teaching that they are doing
wonderful things, but notice:

7:23—
But
then I will declare to them; I
never knew you. Get away
from Me, you who practice
iniquity; you
who break the Laws of Yahweh!
Iniquity:
If you think your religion is teaching Yahweh's Laws, or even the Ten Commandments, you are wrong and will be dead wrong unless you repent, because Yahweh says, by the Prophets, that they, the religions, will not repent even after a third part of man is dead over a fourth part of the earth.

9:20-21—

And the rest of the men who were
not killed by these
plagues, still
did not repent
of the works of their
hands, that they should
not worship demons, and gods (elohim, teraphim) of gold, and silver,
and brass,
and stone, and of wood: which can neither see, nor hear, nor walk;

Neither
did they repent
of their murders,
nor of their sorceries, nor of
their fornication,
nor of their thefts.
Even after a third part of man is killed over a fourth part of the earth, the religions will continue to make war, until they have darkened the sun with their bombs.
The Great Tribulation will not end until October 13, 2007, at which time the sun will be darkened.
Revelation
6:12—
And I
looked when He had opened the
sixth seal, and behold,
there was a great earthquake; and thesun
became black as
sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood.
Mattithyah
24:29—
Immediately,
but
after the Great Tribulation of those
days will the sun
be darkened,
and the moon will
not give her light, and
the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be
shaken.
