When The House of Yahweh first brought out the Prophecies about the nuclear baby that was conceived September 12, 2006 and will be born June 12, 2007, many scoffed and ridiculed as has always been the case when there is a lack of understanding or belief in the Holy Scriptures. Many of the scoffers were religious leaders who later studied our Prophecy, still not fully understanding but fearing that The House of Yahweh may indeed be correct, they started trying to make up their own prophecies so they won’t need to hide their shame later when Yahweh’s Prophecies prove true.

Scriptures
show that the Quartet
(United States, United
Nations, European Union, and Russia), in trying to hold back the
prophesied
nuclear wars, will, in fact, become involved in delivering the nuclear
baby
that Prophecy shows will take nine months to develop, with many birth
pains
being experienced along the way.
Many politicians are actively engaged in trying to stop President Bush at this time, for one reason or another; but they will not succeed in stopping this nuclear baby or the nuclear wars that will continue four months after the nuclear baby has killed a third part of men over a fourth part of the earth in and around the great River Euphrates.
Look at any world globe or map to see the place where Prophecy shows this first nuclear war will be, and you will see exactly where the birth pains are taking place at this time.
The United States, at the same time the nine months nuclear baby is developing, is also involved in another Prophecy.
Let Us Be Like The First Beast
The Hebrew word cheyna translated beast is used to show man’s governments of and by the people but controlled by religions that are also of and by the people. These religions and governments have a mixture of righteousness and evil, which is shown as a tree of righteousness, that Yahweh allows to exist to prove to mankind that righteousness mixed with evil does not bring peace. This is shown in the Plan of Yahweh in Genesis 2:9. These Prophecies are revealed in detail in our books The Mark of the Beast, Volumes 1 and 2. These books were written in the 1970s.
We also had scoffers at that time and persecutors who persecuted our people in ways we would have never dreamed. But The House of Yahweh endured and grew stronger. Now the Prophecies are coming to pass in detail. The scoffers are no longer able to deny the validity of Yahweh’s established House and the Prophecies for this time period.
The
Prophet Daniyl was inspired to write
that a seven-year peace plan would be confirmed with Rabin of the
nation
Israel. That plan was not confirmed with Rabin in the 70s. Rabin was
not in
office at that time, but I wrote of it in the 70s. It was a seven-year
plan and
it was confirmed September 13, 1993 with, guess who? Rabin, just like
Yahweh
inspired Daniyl to write.
Prophecy
shows that:
Rabin would be
assassinated, and he was on November 11, 1995.
The
seven-year peace
plan would be shut down in the midst of the seven years. It was.
The
seven-year plan
would stay shut down for two times (one time is 3½ years),
two times is seven
years . It was shut down for seven years.
Then Daniyl showed it would start up again. It did, and we are in the last three and one-half years of it at this time.
This
seven-year plan was given to show the end of man’s
governments and the beginning of a new Kingdom, the Kingdom of Yahweh.
Daniyl 7:26-27—
26
But
the Judgment will sit,
and they will take away his government, to consume and to destroy it
completely.
27
Then
the kingdoms and
governments, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven,
will be
given to the people of the Saints of Yahweh, Whose kingdom is
an
everlasting kingdom, and all governments will serve and obey Him.
Man’s Governments Will End With Nuclear Wars
Man's governments and religions of and by the people will end with nuclear wars in this present three and one-half year period. These Prophecies are shown in detail in our books The Mark of the Beast, Volumes 1 and 2 and The End.
I urge you to get those books, learn these Prophecies and know and believe what is coming next. What is coming in the next few months, between now and June 12, 2007, will involve a third part of man being killed over a fourth part of the earth in and around the great River Euphrates. Then in the four months that follow every nation on earth will become involved.
In this time period, the nations’ governments and religions will be given to nuclear wars. They will destroy themselves and will darken the sun. This all started with the fourth world ruling kingdom led by a religion identified as a little horn or spokesman. We know it was a religion because of the fact that it changed Yahweh’s Laws of worship and created its own laws of worship, making it a religion—but not of Yahweh. In Prophecy, it’s shown as a beast and a little horn or spokesman. Later, this fourth beast came to be known as the “Holy Roman Empire” whose religion was democracy. Yes democracy was the first order of the “Holy Roman Empire”.
Democracy
I don't believe that the founding fathers of the United States meant for democracy to take the shape it has in the last few years.

such government 3 equality of rights, opportunity, and treatment
Religions of and by the people have always been great in number. The religions in the majority persecuted the minority. Revolutions that took place because of persecution by powerful religions are in the millions. Billions of people were killed because of their religious beliefs. They had no power to protect themselves.
The “Holy Roman Empire” and the Catholic religion promised freedom and protection from the major religions. In fact, three major religions fell by the “Holy” Roman Empire and the Catholic religion that led them.
Freedom is great. In fact, it’s shown to have been set by Yahweh in the inspired writings of the Prophets. But freedom without character education, as is the way of the world—anything goes— can be destructive.
Notice,
first comes the righteous teachings of the Laws of
Yahweh, which all nations of the world should be asking for at this
time.
Deuteronomy
6:1-7, 25—
1
Now these are the Laws,
the Statutes, and the Judgments which Yahweh your Father has
commanded me to teach
you: so that you may observe them in the land you are crossing over to
possess;
2
So that you may reverence
Yahweh your Father by keeping all His Statutes and His Laws,
which I command
you, your son, and your son’s son all the days of your life;
and so that your
days may be prolonged.
3
Hear therefore, O Israyl,
and be careful to obey; so it may be well with you, and so that you may
greatly
multiply, as Yahweh, the Mighty Father of your fathers, has promised
you, in
the land that flows with milk and honey,
4
Hear, O Israyl, Yahweh is
our Father. Yahweh is One.
5
And you must love Yahweh
your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all
your
might.
6
And these Laws which
I command you this day must
be in your heart;

And you must teach
them
diligently to your children, and talk about them when you
sit
in your
house, and when you walk on the road, and when you lie down, and when
you rise
up.

it will be our righteousness,
if we observe to do all of this Law before Yahweh our Father, as He has
commanded us.

comes the freedom to choose
either the righteous
Way of Yahweh or the mixture of righteousness and evil, the religions
of and by
the people.

30:15
See,
I have set
before
you this day
life by righteousness,
and death and destruction—
Death
and destruction come without
character education.
Life and healthy peaceful living come only with complete righteousness.
Deuteronomy
30:16-20—

In
that I command you this
day to love Yahweh your Father, by walking in all His
ways, by keeping
His Laws, His Statutes, and His Judgments, so that you may live and
multiply,
and so Yahweh your Father may bless you in the land which you go in to
possess.

if your heart turns
away, and you are not
obedient, and
you are drawn
away to submit to gods
(elohim), to worship them by serving them—

declare to you this day
that you will surely perish; you will not prolong your days in
the land which
you cross over the Yardan to possess

This
was Yahweh’s Plan
from the beginning and His
purpose for creating the earth and mankind 6,000 years ago.
Yahweh’s Plan is to
create and choose righteous men to whom He would give great Power and
Authority
over the heavens and the earth.
Genesis
1:26—
Then
Yahweh said: I will make man
in My image, according to My
likeness; they will have rulership over the fish of the sea, over the
birds of
the air, over the cattle, and over all the earth and over every
creeping thing
that creeps upon the earth.
Psalm
8:4-8—

What is man
that You are mindful of him? And the son of man, that You visit him?
5
For You have
made him a little lower than the malakim, but You will crown
him with glory
and honor.

You made man
to be the ruler
over the works of Your hands; You
will put all things
under his feet;

All sheep and
oxen; yes, all the beasts of the field;

All the fowls
of the air and the fish of the sea, and whatever passes through the
rivers in
the seas will

Hebrews
1:5—
For
example, to which of the
malakim did He ever say: You are My
Son, today, I have become your Father? And again: I Myself shall become
His
Father, and He Himself will become My Son?

For it is not to the
malakim that He has subjected the world to come, about which we are
speaking;

For one brings testimony in
a certain place, saying: What is man, that You are mindful of him, or
the son
of man, that You visit him?

You made him a little lower
than the malakim; You crowned him with glory and
honor, and
did set
him over the works of Your hands.

You have put
all things
in subjection under his feet. In putting everything
in subjection under
Him, Yahweh left nothing that is not subject to Him—but at
this time we do not
yet see all things put under Him.
There is yet still time to be a part of this righteous family of Yahweh if you will come out of religions of and by the people. Yahweh has carried out His Plan for 6,000 years, and it will soon be finished. In fact, we are shown in Prophecy that the 6,000 years allotted for the finishing of Yahweh’s Plan of creation will also be the same time that the rebellious, those who will not repent of sin, will destroy themselves.
Read
the following Scriptures carefully. The one fulfilling
these Prophecies is the “Holy” Roman Empire, the
Catholic Church.
Daniyl
7:7-9—
7
After this I saw in the
night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful
and terrible, and
exceedingly strong; and it had great iron teeth; it devoured
and broke in
pieces, then
trampled the residue with its feet. It was
different
from all the beasts that were before it; and it had
ten horns.
8
I considered the horns, and
behold, there came up among them another little horn,
before whom there
were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots; and behold, in
this horn
were eyes like the eyes of man, and
a mouth
speaking
great
things.
9
I beheld until the Thrones
were set in place, and the Ancient of Days did sit, Whose vesture was
white
as snow, and the hair of His head like the pure wool; His throne was
like the
fiery flame, and
His wheels as
burning fire.
Verse
7 shows
that the fourth beast broke up and devoured the whole earth with its
teachings.
History shows this Prophecy came to pass exactly as written. Verse
8
shows that the little horn, which the Catholic Church fulfilled, became
the
major religion and was prophesied to stay in power until the coming of
the
Kingdom of Yahweh. That coming will be after the nuclear wars that
include the
nuclear baby and the four months following its birth.
Daniyl
7:11—
I
beheld, then, because of the
voice of the great words which the
horn spoke; I beheld until the beast was slain, and his body
destroyed, and
given to the burning
flame.
This
burning is the same burning
that takes place with
nuclear wars before the coming of the Savior.
Malakyah
4:1-4—

For, behold,
the day comes that will burn
like an oven;
and all
the proud, yes, and
all who do wickedly, will be stubble—the day that comes will
burn them up, says
Yahweh of hosts; and it will leave them neither root nor branch.

But for you
who reverence My Name, the light of righteousness will arise with
healing in
its wings; and you will go out, leaping like calves released from
the
stall.

And you will
tread down the wicked; for they will be ashes under the soles of your
feet in
the day that I will do this,
says Yahweh
of hosts.

Law of Mosheh My servant, which I commanded through him in
Horeb for all
Israyl, with
the Statutes
and Judgments.
Isayah
24:1-6—
1
Before Yahweh’s very
eyes, the earth is made empty and it is made waste; the face of it is
perverted
and its inhabitants scattered abroad;

And it will be: as with the
people, so
with the priest; as with the
servant, so with his owner;
as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the
seller;
as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with him who takes usury,
so with
him who gives usury to him:

The land will be utterly
emptied and utterly plundered, for it has come to pass that
this Judgment has
been pronounced.

The earth mourns and fades
away, the world mourns and fades away, and the haughty people of the
earth
languish.

The earth also is defiled
under the inhabitants of it, because they have transgressed
the Laws, changed
the ordinance,
and broken
the everlasting covenant.

Because of this, the curse

the inhabitants of the earth are burned,

The
United States of America is
included in this
burning.
Revelation

up out of the earth, and he had two

like a dragon.

all the authority of the first beast before him, and caused
the earth and
those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound
was
healed.

great wonders, so that he makes fire come down from heaven
on the earth
in the sight of men.

against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines,

after this burning comes
the Kingdom of Saints,
those who keep the whole Law, those who choose life and righteousness.

In
this the
children of Yahweh and the children of the devil are manifest. Whoever
does not
practice righteousness is not of Yahweh, and he

neighbor!
The Kingdom of Saints are those who will receive Power and Authority at the end of this time period that we entered on September 13, 1993 (seven-year peace plan confirmed with Rabin) and will end October 13, 2007, in this final time offered to man to choose righteousness.

12:7—
Then
I heard the man clothed in
linen, who on that
future day is teaching, when he held up his right hand and his left
hand toward
heaven, and vowed by Him Who lives forever, that: It will be for
a time,
times, and a half, when Yahweh
will have accomplished
pouring out His power through His Holy people, all these things
will
be finished.
This last time period ends October 13, 2007.

There
Will Never Be Another World
Ruling Kingdom
Of And By
The People
It’s
hard for most to
believe but it is the Kingdom of
Yahweh that is working out Yahweh’s Plan of building a
righteous Kingdom of
Priests after the order of Melchizedek.
Hebrews
5:4-11—
4
And no man
takes this honor upon himself, but he must be called by
Yahweh, as was Aaron.
5
So the Messiah
also did not take upon Himself the glory of becoming a High Priest, but
Yahweh
said to Him: You are My Son, today I have begotten You.
6
As He also
says in another Scripture: You are a Priest
forever after the order
of Melchizedek.
7
Who, in the days
of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications with
loud cries
and tears to the One Who could save Him from death, was heard because
of His
Holy reverence.
8
Though He was
a Son, yet He learned obedience from the things which He
suffered;
9
Then being
perfected, He became the Causer of eternal salvation to all
those who obey
Him.
10
Called
by
Yahweh a High Priest after the order of
Melchizedek,
11
About
Whom we
have many things to say; and hard to be explained, seeing you are dull
of
hearing.
Let me quickly point out what is meant here. The Priesthood after the order of Melchizedek means after the order based on character, righteous character based on Yahweh’s Laws.
Hebrews
6:20—
Where
the Forerunner has entered
for us: Yahshua, having
become High Priest forever according to the order of
Melchizedek.
Hebrews
7:1-3—
1
For this
Melchizedek, king of Salem, Priest of Yahweh Most High, met Abraham
returning
from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him,
2
And Abraham
also gave him a tenth part of all. First, his name being
translated means,
King of
Righteousness, and then also king of Salem, meaning,
King of Peace.
3
Melchizedek’s
father and
mother were not recorded in the [genealogies],
neither
was the beginning of his days, nor the end of his life—but he
was a
representation of the Son of Yahweh, for the continuance of the
Priesthood.
Add
one more Scripture to the
above and it shows
plainly what the chosen are like. The following Scripture fully
describes the
Priesthood based on the order of Melchizedek as well as all who are
chosen for
it.
Hebrews
7:26—
For
such a High Priest is fitting
for us, Who
is holy,
harmless, undefiled, separate
from sinners,
and made
higher than the heavens;
Yahweh allowed both war and peace in a 6,000 year trial period. In each environment Yahweh chose men and women that fit this character, this order of Melchizedek, as also the Savior was chosen.
Yahweh’s Plan is given to us in the Prophecies. We are at the end of this Plan in this time period.
Men are trying to rule the world and trying to save the world from a nuclear holocaust. The strong religions are still trying to destroy those who do not follow them. At the same time, disease epidemics are increasing all over the world, and we are getting closer to nuclear war. The inspired Prophecies show that we are in the end time shown by Daniyl the Prophet—the last three and one-half years of a fourteen year Prophecy.

For
nation will
rise
against nation,
and
kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines,

and earthquakes

shown the U.S. making a
push for the spread of democracy.

Worship
means serve. You serve by
doing the will of or
bringing forth the desires of a person, such as a religious leader.
Revelation
13:13—

that he makes fire come
down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men.
Notice
first, verse 11
shows that the beast has
two horns (two religions) whereas the first beast has one horn (one
religion).
The first beast is shown in:

upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise
up out of the sea,
having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and
upon his
heads the names of blasphemy.

And the beast
which I saw was similar to a leopard, and his feet were as the

bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion; and the dragon gave him his
power,
and his throne, and great
authority.

And I saw one
of his heads, as it were, wounded to death. And his deadly wound was
healed;
and all the world wondered; followed, after the
beast.

worshiped the dragon which gave power to the beast; and they worshiped
the
beast, saying: Who is
like the
beast? Who is able
to make war with him?

given unto him a mouth speaking great things, and blasphemies; and

given unto him to make war for forty-two moons; months.

his mouth in blasphemy against Yahweh, to blaspheme His Name, and His
House,

have not been written from
the foundation of the world, in The Book of Life of the Lamb Who was

that the first beast rose up out of the sea. The interpretation of that
verse
is found in:

17:1—
And
there came one of the seven
malakim who had the seven bowls,
and talked with me, saying to me: Come, I will show you the
sentence of the great
whore that sits upon many waters.
The
waters are peoples,
multitudes, nations and
tongues.
Revelation

And
he said to me: The waters
which you saw, where the whore
sits, are peoples, and multitudes,
and nations, and languages.

mountains on
which the
woman sits.

us the following information concerning these seven mountains (hills).

city of seven hills.

“City
of Seven Hills.”

Esquiline,

Caelian hills. ...the seat
of the papacy, the head of the
great Roman
Catholic Church.

He probably chose this date because the people of Rome already observed

The “Holy” Roman Empire, led by the popes, was the first to bring forth democracy as the following information shows.

Democracy
in the Ancient World.
A high
degree of democracy was found in the Greek city-states. The
Romans
were familiar with the democratic idea. The
Romans adopted a mixed
form of government in which ability and wealth were balanced against
the power
of the people. Aristotle also held that democracy was a corrupt form of
government. Polity or
government by men guided by
liberty and virtue,
tended to lapse into democracy, or what
Aristotle
called government by
the mob. The Romans were
the first to impose central
authority upon a large
area,
and at the same time preserve local city government.
The U.S. In Prophecy
The
first beast rose up out of the
sea.

of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten
crowns,
and upon his heads the names of blasphemy.

This first beast was led by only one religion, the Catholic Church, which is led by the Pope.
The USA
The second beast, government of and by the people, rose up where there were no multitudes and nations. The land later called the United States was only discovered in 1492. Yes, just 515 years ago.
History
of the United States
For
hundreds of years, Europeans knew
nothing about the land that
was to become the
United States. American
history began when Europeans brought
their
civilization across the Atlantic Ocean during the 1500s and 1600s.
Christopher
Columbus sailed
westward
in 1492, because
he believed that Asia lay just across the
Atlantic Ocean.
When he found land, he thought he had reached the East Indies (now
Indonesia).
He never knew that he had discovered
a new continent.
But the Spaniards
and Portuguese who came after him realized that they had reached an unexplored
land.
They called it The
New World.
The
British were the first to settle
in
North America in large numbers. In 1585, Sir Walter Raleigh tried
unsuccessfully to establish a colony on Roanoke Island. More than 20
years
passed before colonists made the first permanent settlement, at
Jamestown in
1607.
What
is now called the United
States of America is led
by two horns or two religions—Catholic, which is the majority
and Protestant.
Together they have the majority vote to pass the laws that govern
America. The
two horns give authority to one member of the Quartet, one of the four
messengers that we find mentioned in:
Revelation
7:1—
And
after these things I saw four
messengers
standing on the
four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the
earth, so that the
wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
These messengers are called angels in the King James Version but the word means messengers or representatives engaged in service.

United States of America, as well as its actions, is fully

Verse 11 shows two horns which are two religions like a lamb but speak like a dragon. In verse 12 we see the word worship, which throughout the inspired Scriptures, means to serve and be like.
Service to or worship of Yahweh is to be in His image. Worship of Satan is to serve sin, being like or in the image of Satan.
Verse
13 shows the nuclear bombs that explode above
earth
bringing down fire from heaven.
Revelation
13:12—
And
he exercised all the
authority of the first beast before him,
and caused the earth and those who dwell
in it to
worship the first beast,
whose deadly wound was healed.
The word caused or causeth in the King James Version is better translated attempted to cause or bring forth.
Notice also, this attempt is tried on all those who dwell upon the earth to be like the first beast which practiced democracy. Surely everyone knows by now that our president has been pushing democracy on all nations ever since he has been in office.
The U.S. Is Also At War Against The Moslems
Many
have called the war with Iraq
a war of religion.
Malachi Martin in his book The Keys Of This Blood
(published in 1990)
and during personal interviews said that “Mary”,
who he agreed was leading the
Catholic Church, was going to make war against all nations that would
not
worship her and that the Moslem nations would suffer greatly.
That statement and Prophecy is coming to pass at this time as the Quartet carries out its plans.
What’s Next?
The nine months nuclear baby will be born June 12, 2007. In this time period, by the date June 12, 2007, a third part of man will be killed over a fourth part of the earth in and around the great River Euphrates by nuclear wars.
It Won’t Stop There
Democracy
by itself does not bring
peace, joy, love or
health. Democracy is supposed to give mankind the freedom to choose.
Yahweh’s
Laws do the same.
Deuteronomy
30:19—
I call heaven and earth as
witnesses against you this day, that
I have set
before you life and
death,
blessings and curses—therefore
choose life, so both
you and your children may live;
Every
nation needs democracy.
Every person needs the
freedom to choose, but the religions do not offer the rest of what is
needed
and commanded in your Bible, that is character education. In fact,
children all
over the world are being trained in sin, the breaking of
Yahweh’s Laws, because
the major religion changed the Laws. Other religions that tried to
expose the
change were persecuted. Notice what Prophecy shows will be the end
result of
that change.

Prophets all say that when we
break the Laws of
Yahweh given in your Bible, we cause harm to come upon ourselves. We
cause
sicknesses, disease epidemics, confusion to the mind, hatred and wars.
When we
compare the next Scripture, which is also given for our time period, we
see
that what has been done worldwide in breaking Yahweh’s Laws
has caused the
nations to become enraged.
Revelation
11:18—
And
the nations
were
angry, for
Your Judgment has come; and
the time of the dead, that they should be sentenced, and that You
should give
reward to Your servants the Prophets, and to all the Saints - to those
who reverence Your Name,
small and great; and
should judge those who destroy the earth.
The word translated angry according to Strong’s Greek Dictionary actually means provoked or enraged, reaching forth or excitement of the mind, violent, passion, abhorrence, anger, indignation, vengeance and wrath.
This
Prophecy is describing a time period known to all Prophets
as the Last Days. This is a time when all the world is deeply involved
in sin,
which was actually prophesied for this time period. The Savior in
speaking of
this time period (the Last Days) in Mattithyah
Chapter 24
shows the same
thing.

Now
as He sat on
the Mount of Olives, the Disciples came to Him
privately, saying; Tell us, when will these things be? What will
be the
sign of Your coming and the end of the age?
The
Savior was asked about the
end. His response was
not that the nations would be civilized and righteous. Notice what He
says the
nations and religions would be like.

And
because iniquity;
the breaking of Yahweh's
Law, will abound, the love
of the many will
grow cold.
According to the Greek dictionary in Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance, the word iniquity is word #458 from word #459, and means: transgression of the law, not subject to the law.
Let’s
look at the
following Scriptures again.

The word wine in Revelation 17:2 and Revelation 18:3 means teaching.
A Great Example Of Leadership And Persecution
Crusades
The
crusades
were
military expeditions
to defeat the
Moslems
and win the Holy Land, where Jesus had lived. They began just before
A.D. 1100
and lasted until nearly 1300. The men who marched on the crusades came
from the
Christian
nations of
western Europe. Popes
took the lead in preaching
crusades
against the Moslems. Feudal barons at first led the
expeditions,
but later shared leadership with the rulers of various countries.
The
crusaders
differed widely in social position, wealth, thinking, and purpose. Not
every Christian who set forth for the Holy Land was inspired with religious
enthusiasm. Some hoped
to win military glory
or get new lands.
Others were looking
for adventure.
Merchants
joined the ranks in
search of new markets.
Criminals joined
the crusaders to run away
from justice. The preaching
of Pope Urban II, which prompted
the First
Crusade, appealed to men’s political and economic ambitions,
as well as to
their religious fervor.
The
word crusade
comes from the Latin word crux, meaning cross. The cross of Christ was
the
official bade of those who joined the great expeditions, and the
expression
“taking the cross” meant becoming a crusader. The
crusades are sometimes called
the Holy Wars of the Middle Ages.
The
First
Crusade
(1096-1099)
began as a result of the preaching of Pope
Urban II
at the Council of Clermont in 1095. He urged all
Christians
to forget their
local feuds and unite to rescue the
Lord’s
Sepulcher from the Moslems.
The
Second
Crusade (1147-1149)
began after the Moslems, under Zangi,
reconquered part
of the Kingdom of Jerusalem.
The
Third
Crusade
(1189-1192)
was a direct effort to take back the city
of Jerusalem
itself, which the Moslem troops of Saladin captured in 1187. The kings
of
France and England and the Holy Roman Emperor forgot their local
quarrels long
enough to join in an expedition to win back the Holy City. Philip II,
King of
France, soon gave up the crusade and went home to plot against his
political
enemies.
The
Fourth
Crusade
(1202-1204)
followed
the vigorous preaching
of Pope Innocent III.
The crusaders removed the Byzantine emperor and installed Baldwin of
Flanders,
one of their leaders, as ruler. The Fourth Crusade resulted in the
temporary
transfer of the Eastern Empire from Greek to Latin control and the
division of
its territories as spoils among various Latin Princes. But conditions
in the
Holy Land remained unchanged, and the Moslems continued to rule.
The
Later
Crusades
continued
until 1291 and had little success. An
expedition led by
Frederick II, Holy
Roman Emperor,
in 1228-1299 is
called the Fifth
Crusade by some historians and the Sixth by others. A truce between
Frederick
II and the Moslems secured Jerusalem for the Christians. Jerusalem
remained in
Christian hands until 1244, when the Moslems captured the city again.
The
Children’s
Crusade
(1212)
was
an army of
30,000 boys and girls,
most of them less
than 12 years old.
Led by a French shepherd lad named Stephen, they set forth to free the
Holy
Land. Many of the children died. Another band of 20,000 children, led
by a
German boy named Nicholas, met the same fate.
Results
of the Crusades.
The
crusades speeded up many important events in Europe. They
increased
the
growing power of the church. The crusaders
learned
many lessons in
warfare which
were later used by European countries.
Neither democracy nor the Christian faith bring peace. If you noticed in the history of the crusades, the Pope urged Christians to stop fighting each other and join the fight against the Moslems. Also notice that the crusaders were willing to kill for (1) glory, (2) get new land, (3) for lust for adventure, and (4) new markets.
Pope Urban II appealed to men’s political and economic lust. It’s the opinion of many that the crusaders should have been classified as thieves, rapists, and murderers of men, women and children.
The Scriptural point is that there is no peace or safety among the religions of the world today.
Notice the following excerpts and you will see that Revelation 17:18 is correct about who is leading the kings of the earth today.

of the
most crime-ridden place on Earth and what comes to mind: Sao Paulo,
Brazil?
Lagos, Nigeria? The Bronx, New York?
Try
the Vatican. The small
nation-city
ruled by Pope Benedict XVI apparently sees more criminal cases per
capita than any
other part of the world, the German magazine Spiegel reports.
In
2006, the tiny nation’s
justice
department had to contend with 341 civil and 486 criminal cases. With a
population of 492, that measures out to 1.5 cases per person
—20 times the
corresponding rate in Italy.
Another
surprising statistic about
the
rampant crime in the Vatican is that it exists despite a security force
that
would put a police state to shame. The seat of the Catholic Church has
one
Swiss guard for every four citizens, plus museum guards and police
assigned to
the Vatican by the Italian government.

This
reminds me of a nursery rhyme
I once knew:
The
Old Woman in the Shoe
There
was an old woman who lived in a shoe.
She
had so many children she didn’t know what to do.
She
gave them some broth, without any bread,
Then
kissed them all soundly, and sent them to bed.
The Catholic Church has so many children she doesn’t know what to do with them, but she thinks she can control the world.
Notice
she gave them broth. The Prophet Isayah shows what this
broth is.
Isayah
65:4—
Who
assemble and spend the night
keeping memorials
for the dead, who eat swine’s flesh, and the broth
of abominable things
is in their vessels.
We also see that she did not give them any bread—the bread of life (Laws of Yahweh), which the Catholic Church has rejected.
What Is Lacking?
What
is lacking in the world,
according to the inspired
Prophets, is teachers of the character education found in the inspired
writings
of the Prophets. The Savior said the following:

Then
He said to them: O fools,
and slow of heart to
believe all that the Prophets have spoken!
